Bona R848 is a very low-emission, elastic, 1-component, silane-modified adhesive for parquet up to a cover Width of 200mm.
The adhesive hardens into a soft, elastic film, which means that stresses are only passed on to the subfloor to a lesser extent.
The adhesive sets through a chemical reaction with the ambient moisture. The open time is approx. 30 minutes.

- easy to process (good rib position, splashes easily removed, 1-component,...) suitable for underfloor heating
A primer is usually not necessary.*

Quantity: 15 kg = 1 bucket (container)
Consumption: approx. 1250g/m² for 3-layer finished parquet (approx. 12m²/container)
Underfloor heating: approved by the manufacturer for bonding to underfloor heating (see installation recommendations)

Suitable surfaces:
- Cement screeds (CT) according to EN 13813
- Calcium sulfate (flowing) screeds (CA) according to EN 13813
- Floors filled with suitable cement-based filler or with Bona H670 (Bona Gips) (at least 2mm thick, filler must be plasticizer-proof!)
- Chipboard V100
- other dry and solid surfaces (e.g. dry screeds)
- Mastic asphalt screeds (AS) in accordance with EN 13813 (sufficiently sanded) and other substrates sensitive to plasticizers require a protective primer with Bona R410 or Bona R540
* If a problematic surface needs to be primed, use Bona R410, Bona R540 or alternatively Bona R580. It is not necessary to sand Bona R410 if the surface of the primer remains clean and the parquet is glued with Bona R850 within 24 hours. Unevenness, depressions, holes or similar must be filled with Bona H600, H610 or H650.
